Cult of Mac's 2017 Apple year in review 2017 was a killer year for new Apple products — and it’s not all because of the iPhone X.

Apple’s design team spun out updates in nearly every single category while also popping out a few all-new products. The Mac Pro and Mac mini were pretty much the only machines that got no love from Apple this year. But with all the new stuff, it’s hard for Apple fans to complain.

Here’s a recap of every new Apple product of 2017.

New York City is getting a new Apple store this week, only instead of replicating the iconic Fifth Ave glass cube, this time Apple’s going with a giant triangle.

The new store will be Apple’s second retail location in Brooklyn after the company opened a store in Williamsburg last year. Apple’s glass-sided triangle store opens December 2 and is located down the street from the Atlantic Terminal and Barclays Center.

It’s time for Apple to think different when it comes to the Mac mini.

Even though it’s been over 1,000 days since Apple last updated its smallest Mac machine, Tim Cook insists it’s still an important part of Apple’s product line. Apple fans are desperate for an update, but if it looks anything like this concept it’ll have been well worth the wait.

The notch on the iPhone X is one of the most divisive design decisions Apple’s made in years. Not everyone is a fan of the small black patch at the top of the iPhone X display, but it seems inevitable that Apple will bring Face ID to other products.

The folks at Curved created a bunch of concepts imaging what the soon-to-be-iconic iPhone X notch would look like on other Apple products. Some of the mock ups seem like their destined, while it looks down right wrong on the Apple Watch.
