New video of an alleged iPhone 7 case appears to show major changes destined for Apple’s next-gen smartphone.
If it is accurate, the case appears to confirm that Apple will kill the headphone jack and add stereo speakers to the bottom of the device, which should be revealed later this year.
On the rear of the case shown in the video, which was leaked by YouTuber Lewis Hilsenteger this morning, the iPhone camera opening on the back is slightly lower than the iPhone 6 design and also includes a wider camera opening — possibly for a bigger lens. Or maybe two?
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone SE at an event on March 21st at the company’s headquarters in Cupertino. The new 4-inch iPhone is expected to feature an A9 processor, 12MP camera, Touch ID and Apple Pay. A new 9.7-inch iPad Pro with four speaker audio, an A9X processor, 12MP camera, and Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard support is also likely to be unveiled at the event.
The iPhone 7 keynote most likely won’t happen until September, so there’s still a little bit of time for Apple to slip in some changes. Other rumors have claimed the device may feature a dual-lens camera, 256GB of storage, simplified antenna design, and maybe even a Smart Connector.

iPhone 7? More like the iPhone 6SE. Same form factor? YAWN. Couldn’t care less about the focking camera. Buster’s mom doesn’t need my higher resolution d-pics. I want something new, fresh and progressive. Not the same old sans an antenna line. Their sales are falling and Samsung continues to innovate and put out new designs. Apple’s pride and complacency is about to come before their fall.

How come you’re not yawning at the S7 looking exactly like the S6? Seems like the standards for “innovation” are a lot lower when you’re not Apple.
I absolutely am yawning.. (BTW: I am an apple fanboy..) It looks very disappointing if these leaked photos are going to be what production versions would look like. But would I get one ? Yes if it has AMOLED screen, with always on display like the edge. If not – No…not for the dual lens camera. Quite happy with single lens camera thank you. Antenna lines don’t bother me. seriously ? no edge to edge screen? No wifi g? No contactless wireless charging? … whats happening? (i know it too early…)

The words “appear to show”, “alleged”, “If it is accurate”, “possibly”, and of course “leaked by Youtuber” can all be summed up in •one• word: “rumor.” As it has always been, no one knows for sure what Apple releases… until Apple releases it.
