Apple is working to fix a problem with the iPhone X, in which its screen becomes unresponsive in cold weather. According to the Reddit user who first reported it, the effect happens within seconds of venturing outside into the cold, and means that the screen struggles to register swipes and other gestures.
Apple supply maker Japan Display has announced disappointing quarterly earnings, based in part on Apple’s shift to using OLED displays for the iPhone X.
