I put this multi-device charger to the test in my home office. Here’s why I’ll keep using it.

WIreless charging is so much more convenient than plugging a cable into the iPhone Every. Single. Time. Just put the phone down on a charger.
But those who prefer cables love to point out the drawbacks. Wireless charging is slower! And the phone gets hot!
The Wireless Power Consortium invented Qi2.2 to deal with that first problem. It can juice up devices at 25W, not the old 15W or even 7.5W.
Mophie created StealthCharge to deal with the second problem. My testing shows this prevents an iPhone on the 4-in-1 Wireless Charge Stand from getting any hotter than it does when getting power from a USB-C cable. This changed the way I charge my iPhone.

A “standard” design for multi-device wireless charging stands has emerged, and it the one that Mophie uses for its latest. There’s a reason this design keeps showing up: it’s a very good one. It takes up minimal space on my desk while holding my iPhone 17 where I can easily see it, and there’s still room for separate Apple Watch and AIrPods chargers.
Mophie offers the accessory in black, gold or white so you can match it to your office or bedroom decor.
Beyond simply holding up my iPhone, the Qi2.2 charging mat at the end of the stand’s 3.5-inch stem pivots so I can adjust the viewing angle. And because handset and stand cling together with magnets, I can easily move the screen between landscape and portrait.
The Apple Watch charger is another critical feature of the Mophie 4-in-1 Wireless Charge Stand. When I used to track my sleep with my Apple Watch, I needed a place to charge the wearable during the day. This stand is perfect for that.
And don’t overlook the wireless charger in the base. It’s intended for AirPods cases that support wireless charging, but can be used for other devices too. My tests show it can even send power to a second iPhone in a pinch.
Plus a USB-C cable!
I’ve tested plenty of desktop wireless chargers over the years, and the Mophie 4-in-1 Wireless Charge Stand is the first with a retractable cable for sending power to an tablet, laptop, Android… whatever you need.
The cable is 2 feet long, which I find sufficient to get the USB-C port on the end to a nearby computer or other drive.

Wireless iPhone chargers with Qi2.2 go up to 25W or even higher, but they don’t do so for very long. Real-world performance is frequently slower because wireless charging generates heat. As temperatures rise, charging systems automatically reduce power to protect both the charger and the device. This process, known as thermal throttling, can significantly slow charging speeds compared to the charger’s advertised maximum wattage.
That’s where StealthCharge comes in. Mophie moved many of the charging components from around the charging coil into the base of the stand instead. And there’s a heat sink surrounding the charging coil.
My real-world testing shows that StealthCharge works. After 20 minutes with my iPhone 17, the Mophie 4-in-1 Wireless Charge Stand was running about 90 degrees according to my digital thermometer. I did various tests and the phone only got as high as 94 degrees.
At that temperature, there may have been some thermal throttling, but not very much. The charger increased the battery level on my iPhone 17 by 52% in half an hour. That’s enough to qualify as “fast charging” by Apple.
For comparison, my iPhone 17 battery goes up about 58% with a USB-C cable in half an hour. And the handset heats up to over 90 degrees while that’s going on.
What all this data means is that I’ve switched the iPhone to using Mophie’s wireless charger almost all the time. Previously, I’d plug it into a USB-C cable when I needed to quickly charge it, but otherwise go wireless. Now that there’s virtually no speed advantage from USB-C, I always go wireless.
As for juicing up my Apple Watch SE 3, the Mophie 4-in-1 Wireless Charge Stand raised its battery level by 91% in an hour. That’s as fast as I need it to

Mophie says the retractable USB-C Cableled into this stand puts out as much as 60 watts. My tests (mostly) confirmed this.
The accessory sent 56W to one of my power banks in my real-world testing. That’s pretty close to 60W. And it’s actually more than my iPad can take in, so I have no complaints.

I’m really quite pleased with Mophie’s latest desktop charger. I like not needing chargers for my iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods and iPad. And I love that it powers up my iPhone 17 as quickly as a cable.
There’s no doubt, this is my new favorite multi-device charger.
