Apple shares suffer biggest decline since August Photo: White House
President Donald Trump denied botching the name of Apple CEO Tim Cook, saying he was merely saving time when he called Cook Tim Apple at an advisor meeting last week.
Whether it was a slip or intentional, Twitter let out a collective guffaw as a videotape of Trump’s bumble went viral. Cook had some fun, too, changing his Twitter handle to “Tim ” the day after the meeting.
At this point, pretty much every content creator has made the pivot to video. Whether that means shooting in 4K on a camera that costs $10,000, or just doing quick vlog updates with your iPhone, competition is fierce for turning around polished videos as quickly as possible.

One of the quirkiest TV shows in development at Apple may have just found the perfect director to lead its merry band of time traveling dwarfs into the 21st century.
Apple has reportedly hired Taika Waititi to direct Apple’s TV adaptation of Terry Gilliam’s 1981 fantasy movie Time Bandits. The project is still in development, but if you saw Waititi’s last movie, Thor: Ragnarok you know he has a knack for making absurd storylines absolutely magical.

Mark Pelczarski’s first contribution to the personal computing revolution came in a zip-lock bag.

Are you exposing sensitive data in the cloud? Photo: Charlie Sorrel/Cult of Mac
Apple is one of a larger number of big companies that has been inadvertently leaking sensitive data through Box, the cloud storage service.
Security researchers found that staff were exposing data by sharing public links to files and documents that can be easily discovered. It’s thought more than 90 companies, including Box itself, are affected.

Get your freshly-printed WhatsApps here. Photo: Charlie Sorrel/Cult of Mac
Yes, this sounds like a joke about the olde worlde CEO who has his secretary print his emails, then transcribe his dictated replies. But printing message threads can be pretty useful. Lawyers, for example, may want a printed record, or a PDF, of a message thread. And even regular humans might appreciate a well-formatted archive of their messages that can be easily searched and marked up.
You still can’t do this on your iDevice. However, thanks to the amazing iMazing Mac app, you can quickly create PDFs of your messages, and even print them. Onto paper.
