iOS 11 finally has its first jailbreak with Cydia support. Electra 1.0.1 is compatible with all of Apple’s latest devices — including iPhone X and the 10.5-inch iPad Pro — and all versions of iOS 11 up to iOS 11.1.2.

One hacker just unleashed a new jailbreaking tool for iOS 11 — the first with Cydia support. Electra 1.0.1 is compatible with all of Apple’s latest devices, including iPhone X, and all versions of iOS 11 up to iOS 11.1.2.

Apple’s new HomePod is one of the best-selling smart speakers ever, according to new sales data from The NPD Group.

iOS 11.3’s public debut is right around the corner, according to one iPhone accessory maker.

Shure, which manufactures iPhone microphone add-ons, told its followers on Twitter that a fix for its buggy accessories would be available with Apple’s next major update this week.

Leaked photos of an apparent iPhone X Plus display have been published on a Chinese forum.

The device is expected to get its official unveiling this fall alongside a refreshed iPhone X and a more affordable handset with an edge-to-edge LCD display. The leaked displays are said to be from a “production equipment trial run” by LG Display.

Steve Jobs probably never had to fill out a job application after founding Apple Computer Inc., but if you want proof that he was once some regular Joe, one of his last job applications is up for auction.

The latest iOS version 11.2.6 is making some users’ AirPods stream in mono, instead of stereo. That is, the same audio channel is coming out of both AirPods. If you only ever listen to podcasts, you may not have noticed this as most podcasts are recorded in mono, but if you listen to music it might be driving you nuts.

The update may also be screwing with the AirPods’ tap controls.

Either way, the fix is easy.
