From tantalizing teaser posters, to regulatory approval by China’s version of the FCC, it’s hardly the world’s best kept secret (or even a secret at all) that the iPhone 5c and 5s was coming to China Mobile at some point.
Now a website screen grab from a China Mobile subsidiary — advertizing pre-orders for the two new iPhones — suggests that that time could be now.
The subsidiary in question is based in Suzhou, a city with a population of 5 million just west of Shanghai, which counts as among the richest in China.
With around 740 million subscribers — making it the world’s largest mobile carrier — China Mobile is both Apple’s previous biggest holdout and its potential biggest prize. Despite all of the aforementioned hints, this is the first concrete evidence that a deal between the two parties has been reached.
