Apple One makes life easier (and cheaper) by bundling multiple Apple services together — and hidden perks make everything even better. The initial draw is that you gain access to services like Apple TV, iCloud and Apple Music at a reduced price. But there’s more to each of these services than meets the eye.
There are several lesser-known features you might not know about. Some enhance your day-to-day experience, while others will help you save even more money.

If you subscribe to multiple Apple services, such as Apple Music, Apple TV, iCloud storage and Apple Arcade, an Apple One subscription makes a lot of sense. It brings all of Apple’s services under one bundle at a heavily discounted price.
Apple offers multiple tiers of Apple One, each with different component services, so you can select the one that suits you best.
- The Individual plan gains you access to Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and 50GB of iCloud+ storage for $19.95 per month, a savings of $12 per month over subscribing to each of those services separately.
- The Family plan bundles those same services but bumps the iCloud storage to 200GB. Plus, it supports sharing with up to five other members of your family. It costs $25.95 per month, for a monthly savings of at least $14.
- The Premier plan comes with everything the Individual and Family plans do, but adds access to Fitness+ and News+ and bumps up the iCloud+ storage to 2TB. You get all this for $37.75 per month, saving you $32 monthly. And, as with the Family plan, you can share the Premier plan and its various perks with five other people.
But those initial savings are just the beginning of the fun. Apple One offers other perks you might not know about.

Mask your email

Don’t own a custom domain but still want to hide your primary email address when signing up for third-party services? iCloud+ offers a way with Hide My Email support. It allows you to generate random, unique email addresses, which you can use to send or receive emails. And since iCloud+ comes in all the Apple One bundles, you can immediately take advantage of this perk.
If you’ve never used it, you should give it a try. Apple seamlessly integrated the Hide My Email functionality into its Mail app, so you can create masked email addresses and manage your inbox from within the Mail app itself. Plus, for convenience, all emails sent to a masked address automatically land in your primary inbox.
Premium Apple News+ content with the Apple One Premier plan

Love using the Apple News app to catch up on what’s happening around the world? An Apple One Premier subscription makes this even better by unlocking access to Apple News+. As the “+” denotes, you gain access to extra features, including many premium news publications such as The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times. It also offers loads of great magazines, from The Atlantic and Bloomberg Businessweek to The New Yorker and Women’s Health.
With Apple News+, you can follow local news and sports from regional sources, while Apple editors curate top stories tailored to your interests. You also get offline access, multi-device sync, and professionally narrated audio stories to help you catch up when you’re short on time.
Apple News+ gets you around those annoying paywalls and delivers all that high-end content in the app’s clean, distraction-free way.
Plus, it’s not just news. Your Apple One Premier-tier subscription also gains you access to food and games.
A dedicated Food section provides access to tens of thousands of recipes and restaurant reviews. And you can also play exclusive crossword puzzles, sudoku puzzles and the Quartiles word game. Apple even added a new Emoji Game to News+ in iOS 26.
Custom email domains with iCloud+
As mentioned, Apple bundles iCloud+ storage into all of the Apple One subscription bundles. While iCloud+ offers several perks, there’s a handy little bonus you might not know about: support for a custom email domain.
If you use a custom domain for your email address, you can link it directly to iCloud+. For example, if you own abcxyz.com, you can set up a custom email address like [email protected] using iCloud+. Typically, this would require using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, both of which cost significantly more than iCloud+. But with Apple One, you get this feature as part of the plan itself.
The best part? All your emails will directly arrive in iCloud Mail on the web and in the Mail app on the Mac, iPhone or iPad.
HomeKit Secure Video
If you are heavily into the HomeKit ecosystem and own compatible cameras, you will like the HomeKit Secure Video perk bundled with Apple One. Technically, it’s part of iCloud+, which comes included with every Apple One subscription.
Depending on which Apple One tier you are on, you can save various amounts of encrypted footage directly from a HomeKit camera to your iCloud account.
With the Apple One Individual plan, which comes with 50GB of iCloud storage, you can only save up to 10 days of video activity from one camera. With the Family plan, you get 200GB storage and coverage for up to five cameras. And if you are an Apple One Premier subscriber, you get 2TB storage and support for unlimited cameras.
On Family and Premier plans, other members of your family group can also add cameras to your home. Even better, the recorded video doesn’t count toward your iCloud+ storage limit.
Apple Fitness+

Admittedly, Apple Fitness+ is not as popular as other Apple services. Still, if you use the Fitness app, the experience gets even better with an Apple One Premier subscription.
With Fitness+, you gain access to several workout types, such as HIIT, strength training, cycling and core workouts from five to 45 minutes long.
The experience of using Fitness+ gets even better if you wear an Apple Watch. Fitness+ will display real-time metrics like your heart rate, calories burned, etc., on screen.
Apple keeps adding new workouts and exercise content every week to keep Fitness+ fresh and engaging, although it sounds like there could be a shakeup in the future as Apple readies its Health+ app for a possible 2026 launch.
Save on Peacock Premium Plus

An Apple One subscription entitles you to perks even outside Apple’s ecosystem. Apple One subscribers (Family and Premier plans only) get a 35% discount on a Peacock Premium Plus subscription, which provides access to streaming content from NBCUniversal, including original series, films and live sports. Apple calls this “the first benefit of its kind” for the all-in-one subscription bundle.
Note: Apple TV customers without an Apple One subscription also can take advantage of the 35% discount on the Peacock Premium Plus bundle.
Why choose Apple One?
If you subscribe to multiple Apple services, upgrading to an Apple One bundle is a no-brainer. Once you dig into each bundled Apple One service, you’ll realize they offer more than you would think.
