A new streaming bundle will combine content from Apple TV and Peacock into a single subscription available starting Monday (October 20), the iPhone giant said Thursday. The partnership marks the first collaboration of its kind between the two entertainment companies. It offers customers access to both platforms’ content libraries at a discounted rate.

“We’re thrilled to introduce this all-inclusive bundle of incredible programming and to bring Apple TV’s beloved shows and movies to more viewers in more places,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple TV, Apple Music, Sports and Beats. “From acclaimed originals to can’t-miss live sports, the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle unites the best of entertainment in a simple and seamless experience.”

Apple TV and Peacock bundle: Pricing and subscription options

U.S. customers can subscribe to the bundle through either the Apple TV app or Peacock’s platforms, with two tiers available. The Apple TV and Peacock Premium bundle costs $14.99 per month, while the Apple TV and Peacock Premium Plus option is priced at $19.99 monthly. Both options represent savings of over 30 percent compared to subscribing to each service separately.

Apple One subscribers on Family and Premier plans will receive an additional benefit. They can add Peacock Premium Plus to their existing subscription at a 35% discount. That makes this the first external partner benefit available through Apple’s bundle service.

What’s included in the bundle

The combined subscription provides access to award-winning original series from both platforms. That includes Apple TV’s Ted Lasso, Severance and Slow Horses alongside Peacock’s The Traitors, Bel-Air and Law & Order.

Sports fans will have access to live NBA games on Peacock, with the season tipping off October 21. And movie enthusiasts can stream titles from both services’ libraries. That includes favorites like Peacock’s How to Train Your Dragon franchise and Apple TV’s F1: The Movie with Brad Pitt.

Cross-platform content sampling

In a unique arrangement between the two services, Apple TV app users and Peacock subscribers can sample select shows from the partner platform directly within their current app.

So Peacock subscribers can watch up to three episodes of Apple originals including Silo, Foundation, Palm Royale and Prehistoric Planet, while Apple TV users can sample Peacock content such as Twisted Metal, Love Island Games, Happy’s Place and Real Housewives of Miami.

“There is no more perfect combination of entertainment than the Apple TV and Peacock Bundle, with our complementary content portfolios featuring the best shows, movies, sports and live events,” said Matt Strauss, chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group.

The bundle launches October 20. You can purchase it through the Apple TV app, Peacock TV app or their websites, tv.apple.com or Peacock TV.
