Apple could launch the yellow iPhone 14 sooner than you think. This won’t be the first time Apple has announced a mid-cycle color refresh for its iPhone lineup.
Alongside the new color, Apple should launch its spring collection of iPhone 14 cases and watch bands.
Update: As predicted, a new yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus joined Apple’s lineup on Tuesday.
Yellow iPhone 14’s launch is around the corner
In a tweet, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claims that a new iPhone 14 color launch is “imminent.” The last time he made a similar claim for a new HomePod, the speaker launched the next day.
There are rumors of Apple working a yellow iPhone 14. If anything, this means the new iPhone 14 color could go official as soon as this week. The device could then hit retail stores as early as next week.
Nearly a year to the day after the announcement of the green iPhone 13, a new iPhone 14 color is indeed imminent.

Besides the new shade, the banana-colored iPhone 14 is unlikely to sport any hardware or design changes. It will be a mid-cycle cosmetic refresh carrying the same price as the existing models. Adding a new hue to the lineup will help boost consumer interest in the devices.
The iPhone 14 lineup is currently available in five colors: Purple, Midnight, Starlight, Blue, and Product(RED).
New iPhone cases should launch soon
In March 2022, Apple announced a new Alpine Green shade for the iPhone 13 Pro lineup. It is unclear if the new yellow color will remain exclusive to the regular iPhones or make its way to the Pro lineup as well.
Apple has previously offered iPhones in yellow color. The company first used this hue on the 2013 iPhone 5c. Then, in 2018, it launched the iPhone XR in yellow.
Besides the new iPhone 14 shade, Apple will also refresh its iPhone and Apple Watch band lineup with its spring collection. This should include some new colors for the cases and the watch bands.
