Yellow iPhone 14 might be right around the corner
Maybe replace the Apple with a banana?

Apple is reportedly close to adding a new color option to a couple of models in the iPhone 14 series. The latest iOS handset in a yellow casing might be out this spring. No other changes are expected.

It’s not unprecedented: New green options were added to the iPhone 13 Pro models in 2022, months after the products had reached the market.

There ain’t no yellow-bellied iPhone 14… yet

The iPhone 14 series is already available in multiple colors. The two basic versions come in blue, purple, silver, red and black, for example.

But the options are supposedly about to expand. MacOtakara found a Weibo post indicating that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be available in yellow at some point in spring 2023.

The change might come very soon if the past is any indication. On March 8, 2022, Apple introduced new green options for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. That announcement came at an Apple press event, and unconfirmed reports indicate that another such event is scheduled for March 2023. If so, that’s likely when the banana-inspired version of the iPhone 14 will make its debut.

It’s a color Apple has used before. The iPhone XR released in 2018 came in yellow. So did the iPhone 5C back in 2013.
