Apple is running another awesome promotion that offers shoppers free money when they top up their Apple ID. Simply add funds to your account before July 10 and you’ll get 10% extra. Here’s how.

Apple seems to offer this promotion once every year, and we highly recommend that you take advantage of it. It’s ideal for anyone who buys apps, games, music, movies, books, and services from Apple.

All you have to do is top up your Apple ID and you’ll get a 10% bonus absolutely free. So, if you top up $10, you’ll earn $1. If you top up $100, you’ll earn $10. The bonus is immediately available and ready to spend.

Here’s how to claim it in the U.S. and many other countries.

How to top up your Apple ID for a 10% bonus

  1. Open the App Store on iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
  2. Tap your picture in the top-right to access your account.
  3. Tap Add Funds to Apple ID.
  4. Select or enter an amount and tap Next.
  5. Confirm your purchase with Face ID or Touch ID.

The credit card or payment method you already have attached to your Apple ID will be charged. You’ll be prompted to add one if you haven’t already done so.

Note that the maximum bonus amount is $20, so even if you add more than $200 to your account, that’s all you will receive. In addition, you can only take advantage of this deal once before it ends on July 10.

Any funds you add to your Apple ID can be used for digital content purchases from the App Store, iTunes, and the Books Store. You can also use them to pay for services like iCloud, Apple Arcade, and Apple Music.
