Anyone who’s all-in on Apple has an iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch. Recharging that combination every night can be a hassle, but the Mophie 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad can handle them all at the same time.
Apple likes it enough to put it on the Apple Store, so take a look to see if you need one on your nightstand.

Mophie 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad review
Making spots to recharge three very different devices is the overriding factor in the design of this accessory. The basic shape is an oval, but with additions to hold the Apple Watch and AirPods.
It’s 7.25 inches wide, 4.0 inches tall, and 0.4 inches thick not counting the Apple Watch stand.
One version of the 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad is shiny black plastic, while the other other is dark grey fabric. Either looks quite professional, which is important as it’ll always be sitting out where you’ll have to look at it.
The whole right side of this accessory is devoted to a wireless charging mat for an iPhone 11 or models going back to 2017. Other Qi-compatible devices can be used too. This charging mat is a space over 4 inches wide, but the phone needs to go in very near the center to line up the sending and receiving coils.
There are charging mats like the Courant Catch:2 designed to be very forgiving about exactly where the handset is placed. Mophie’s isn’t like that — the iPhone has to be carefully centered. A “Mophie” logo shows where to aim for.
Also, keep in mind that wireless charging works only through fairly thin cases. About 3mm (0.12 inches) is the max. That’s not Mophie’s fault — it’s a limitation of the technology.
Apple Watch charger
On the left side of the 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad is a stand to hold an Apple Watch. This is designed to take advantage of the wearable’s Nightstand Mode, which shows the time and any alarms you’ve set.
There’s a notch in the tray that helps hold up the Watch as though the Crown were supposed to sit there. If a Watch is put in that way — basically upside down — Nightstand Mode doesn’t activate.
It’s up to the buyer to insert this stand when they first get the Charging Pad. But don’t get the idea that this stand is removable; It is not.
Directly in front of Apple Watch charger is a slight depression intended to hold the Wireless Charging Case for AirPods. The case fits in there exactly.
Just note this this accessory was created before AirPods Pro, and that new case is a lot larger — too big for this specially-designed slot.
Mophie 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad performance
This charging mat offers 7.5W to the iPhone, which is the most this handset can take.
We tested the 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad with an iPhone 11, and it was able to bring the battery level up about 14% in 30 minutes. That’s a typical rate for all brands of wireless chargers — this tech just isn’t very fast.
We experienced no problems with a 44mm Apple Watch Series 4, or charging a pair of AirPods.
Mophie 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad final thoughts
Having one place to charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods is very convenient. And this accessory looks good, which really matters because you’ll be looking at it all the time, whether it sits on your desk or nightstand.
The functionality is there too, though the Mophie 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad requires careful placement of the handset to get it to charge.
The version of this product with an ultrasuede charging mat is available on Amazon for $139.95.

Mophie’s 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Pad with a black plastic charging mat is an Apple Store exclusive, and is also priced at $139.95.

For comparison, the Zens Dual+Watch Charger combines an Apple Watch charger with a dual charging mat suitable for iPhone and AirPods. It’s $116.
We already mentioned the Courant Catch:2, and the Choetech Dual Wireless Fast Charger is a similar option with multiple charging rings so positioning the handset isn’t a hassle. Both let you simultaneously charge a pair of iPhones or AirPods cases, but not an Apple Watch.
