Apple’s March 25 media event will be dedicated to services — and that will include the first glimpses of video content from Apple’s original TV series.

While we’ll get a look at some video clips, however, customers shouldn’t expect the series to debut immediately after the event.

According to a report from Variety, Apple will hold off on debuting its original series until the summer or fall of 2019.

By now, Apple has dozens of original content projects in various stages of production. That means that we could see footage from plenty of different shows that Apple is working on. However, Variety singles out the show about a network news morning show as a particularly likely candidate. This show stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell.

That would make sense given a previous report suggesting that both Aniston and Witherspoon will be in attendance at the event. Other high profile attendees will reportedly include Jennifer Garner, J.J. Abrams, Jane Krakowski and Hailee Steinfeld. All are working on various projects with Apple.

Keeping us guessing

It seems that Apple is still working on the specifics of the event, though. This is likely to continue until the very last moment. That hopefully means that this will be one of the more surprising keynotes in recent history.

“Sources also cautioned that specific plans for the press event and how the video service will be introduced could be in flux until the minutes before Cook steps on stage. Apple prizes secrecy and the surprise factor at its public events, which means the company is likely to keep even its creative partners guessing until the day arrives.”
