Patient iOS developers haven’t had long to wait for their time with Apple’s new App Analytics tool; the beta is now open to everyone with an iTunes Connect Admin, Finance, or Sales account.
The new platform appeared earlier this month, but those interested had to file a request for access. It aims to provide tools to easily track downloads, sales, and referrals. This will help developers optimize revenue streams, keep an eye on conversion rates, and do other marketing types of things that cause non-sales folks’ eyes to cross.
App Analytics includes the ability to examine user behavior, but it takes a global view instead of sharing personal information, MacRumors reports. So developers will only be able to identify larger trends and patterns across all users instead of looking at what you, John Sullivan of Boston, are doing on your iPhone.
Developers who crave more graphs in their lives started receiving their e-mail invites today.
