One of iPhone 11’s hottest camera features is also making its way to older devices.
The ability to record from multiple cameras simultaneously will be available on iPhone XR, iPhone XS and XS Max, and the 2018 iPad Pro when iOS 13 rolls out to everyone later this week.

iOS 13 will debut next week, but tablet users will have to wait a bit longer for the iPad equivalent. Apple says iPadOS 13 won’t debut until the end of this month.
That launch date suggests that the company will go straight to iOS 13.1.

Apple didn’t mention HomePod during yesterday’s iPhone 11 event — but it certainly didn’t forget about it, either.
Following the keynote, Apple quietly updated HomePod’s webpage. In doing so, it added exciting details about improvements being lined up for Apple’s smart speaker this fall.

During today’s big iPhone 11 event, Apple will show us its latest hardware and more. And, as always, you can watch the show live. We’re expecting to learn all about the new iPhone 11, or iPhone Pro, or whatever it’ll be called. Also expected is an update on the incredible new iOS 13, and perhaps another peek at — or evan a launch date for — the new Mac Pro.
Whether you’re watching on your Mac, your iPhone or iPad, or your Apple TV, we’ll show you how to tune in. You can even show up at an Apple store and watch it on the big screen!
Note: Cult of Mac will not be live-blogging the action — instead, you can follow along on Twitter, or join us in our IRC chat room for a watch party.

Facebook has clarified how its apps collect and uses location data, ahead of the release of iOS 13.

Apple is promising tons of innovation. Photo: Apple
A whole lot of innovation is in the offing for Apple’s biggest hardware event of the year. CEO Tim Cook recently promised that Apple will unleash its strongest product lineup ever, and next week’s “By Innovation Only” event could be just the tip of the iceberg.
Thanks to a glut of leaked info, we have a pretty solid idea about what new hardware to expect during the event. iPhones obviously will steal the spotlight, but Apple might unleash a few surprises as well.
This is what we think we’ll see during the 2019 iPhone keynote, which starts at 10 a.m. Pacific on September 10. Apple will live-stream it from the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

When Apple introduced ARKit in 2017, the augmented reality platform was hailed as a game-changer. Two years later, Apple’s AR push looks ready to deliver the type of experience that gets CEO Tim Cook so excited he wants to scream.
Thanks to a trio of new augmented reality tools for iOS 13, and the very real possibility of an Apple AR headset on the horizon, 2019 promises to be the start of something truly special for Apple’s augmented reality efforts.

After spending time playing with the iPadOS 13 developer beta and iOS 13 beta , it’s clear there are tons of nice changes coming to Apple’s mobile platforms this fall.
Cupertino highlighted the biggest ones at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference. However, there’s a bunch of smaller stuff they didn’t tell us about. While there are hundreds of “under the hood” changes, these are the best iOS 13 features Apple didn’t announce.
