I’ve racked up dozens of hours wearing Beats X wireless earphones over the past month, and I still think they blow away the competition — even Apple’s AirPods.
For Cult of Mac’s latest video review, I’ve put together a definitive list of my thoughts on the innovative earpods.
Beats X review: One month later
My main takeaway in terms of wearability is just how well-fitting the Beats X earbuds are. They create a seal in my ears, which blocks out almost all background noise. They’re also incredibly comfortable, which means they can be worn in bed to listen to a podcast or music while dozing off, without any problems.
The fact that they don’t draw unwanted attention, as Apple’s futuristic-looking white AirPods can, is also a plus for me.
Beats X earbuds also work very slickly, thanks to Apple’s wireless W1 chip. They’re not totally wireless, but the cord that connects the earbuds is specially designed not to get tangled.
The Beats X battery life is particularly spectacular.
Best of all is the sound, which is superior to any Beats headphones I’ve tried in the past.

I was without work for 6 months when my early Co-worker ultimately recommended me to get started with freelancing online… It was really after I received $5000 in my first 30 days when I actually believed I really could do this for a living! Nowadays I am happier than ever… I work-from-home moreover I am my own boss now that I always wanted… I see several unhappy people around me, working the same old boring job that is sucking the everyday life from all of them day by day… Each time I notice some-one like that I say START FREELANCING MAN! This is where I started >>>> http://flicom.ru/846246
Love these! I’ve had them for almost two weeks and they are bar none the best earbuds I’ve ever had! Really even two months ago would never have considered a Beats product. Besides the features mentioned in the review – will be nice when I commute ot not have to worry about wires tangled, especially in cold weather with. a heavy jacket.
I was paid 104000 bucks last year by doing a web-based task furthermore I was able to do it by working in my own time for quite a few hours on a regular basis. I used work opportunity I came across on the internet and also I am thrilled that I was able to earn such decent earnings. It is actually newbie-friendly and I am so pleased that I discovered out regarding it. Look into exactly what I do… http://olaurl.com/15cet
Love them too, but those little wingtips dont seem to make any difference in terms of staying in better.
I love my BeatsX headphones. I gave up on ever getting an pair of Airpods, I’m not waiting months for something to arrive via mail and they just aren’t available at Apple Stores.
I just love how the stiffness of the wires is perfectly made so that they arch up from the neckband to the earbuds so that they don’t touch your face, the wires hold themselves away. That makes them feel like they have no wires.
That feature aside, I like they way they sound. It’s not perfect sound, I have over-ear headphones for that, but for normal everyday wear and usage, they are just fine.
Yes! So comfy… practically invisible, and great sound to boot.
well that’s just wrong…. try running with them…. they fly all over the place the cord is 3 feet too long… Dealing with the case of the AirPods is a pain in the ass and I’m paranoid about losing them. The Powerbeats 3 aren’t perfect but they work the best.
To each it’s own. I tried the PB3 and I couldn’t deal with the way they fit, the jaybirds weren’t for me and the Bose Soundsport didn’t work for me either.. I am not even interested in trying the AirPods since they have limited functionality and I don’t want to rely on Siri for some stuff and reach my phone for simple things like lowering my volume. The BeatsX have all the functionality on them and even though I own other pairs of “higher end” headphones, I think the beatsX are great for what they were made for: commute, walking, etc.
