It's possible iPad 10 will have its front camera moved to the right edge. Concept: Apple/Cult of Mac
Apple may be making one of the most-requested iPad changes. In Apple’s upcoming budget tablet, the front-facing camera is reportedly moving from a short edge of the display to a long edge, which would put it near the top of the tablet in landscape mode.
Just about anyone who makes FaceTime calls on an iPad can see the advantage.

The Mac mini is mounted behind the monitor. And, yeah, the Magic Trackpad in the middle of the split keyboard is backwards on purpose. Photo: [email protected]
Sometimes you see one thing that seems quietly radical about a computer setup, only to find out it’s full of even weirder tweaks.
Today’s featured setup is a good example. It hides a Mac mini behind a display. But in front of the display, a wildly split mechanical keyboard surrounds a Magic Trackpad turned backward — on purpose!

Multiple sources say the Apple’s upcoming M2 Pro chip will be made with an enhanced manufacturing process that wasn’t yet available for the recently released M2. That will make Apple’s next processor more efficient than the one in the new MacBook Air.
Even better, the M2 Pro could launch in updated MacBook Pro models before the end of 2022.

Five Days at Memorial recap Apple TV+: Things get increasingly grim inside a New Orleans hospital hit by Hurricane Katrina. Photo: Apple TV+
Apple TV+ medical drama Five Days at Memorial, about the terrible misfortune of the staff of an abandoned hospital during Hurricane Katrina, hits the fourth day of disaster this week.
The power is still off, and the A/C is a distant memory. Helicopters are coming to evacuate, but the elevator to the roof is broken. Things are going to get worse before they get better. The gripping drama stays madly compelling and deeply tragic.
A product design Apple would be proud of -- Signia Active Pro hearing aids. Photo: Signia
Apple’s next big thing might not be a car or an AR headset. Thanks to a rule change announced this week by the Food and Drug Administration, Cupertino could soon add hearing aids to its product lineup. The potential market is huge, and Apple stands uniquely positioned to disrupt the status quo.
The new rules allow companies like Apple to sell hearing aids over the counter and online, so buyers can set them up in the comfort of their own homes. Previously, if you wanted to buy hearing aids, your only option was to make an appointment for a hearing test and fitting at a specialist store.
This small change looks set to have a big impact. FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf told CNN he expects the ruling “will unleash the power of American industry to improve the technology.” And there’s one company in particular that has all the know-how to do just that — Apple.

Sophie (played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw) isn't who, or what, we thought after all. Bummer. Photo: Apple TV+
Apple TV+ mystery Surface, about a woman suffering from amnesia at the center of a dark web of mystery, finally tells the truth about who mystery woman Sophie really is.
Turns out she was the brains behind the operation, bringing herself and her husband from nothing to a beautiful house, a six-figure income, and more problems than they know how to handle.
So just how did she and James go from a young power couple lying their way to the top to a couple of criminals looking at the barrel end of jail sentences?
