With one week to go until its annual developer showcase, Apple leaned into a luminous theme with the new WWDC26 tagline “All systems glow.”
You can get your devices ready for the WWDC26 keynote, which kicks off the weeklong event on June 8, with new wallpaper and an Apple Music playlist.
WWDC26: All systems glow
The tagline “all systems glow” on Apple Developer’s WWDC26 page riffs on the classic NASA countdown phrase “all systems go,” swapping readiness for radiance. It’s a characteristically Apple-ish piece of wordplay: punchy, optimistic and meaningful.
The phrase is widely read as a nod to a reported redesign of Siri arriving in iOS 27, which is expected to feature a dark visual scheme with luminous, glowing elements. We should see a dedicated Siri app and a new “Search or Ask” interface built into the iPhone’s Dynamic Island, too.
Whether “all systems glow” ends up being a hint at a transformed Siri experience, a broader design overhaul or something else entirely, the countdown is now well and truly on.
Apple’s earlier WWDC26 tagline was “Coming bright up,” and the overall visual language of this year’s event branding — including its graphics and animations — has consistently pointed toward this new Siri aesthetic. In other words, Apple has been telegraphing its intentions all along. The “glow” theme ties it all together neatly.

Apple’s marketing chief Greg “Joz” Joswiak kicked off the one-week countdown Monday on X.com. He posted a short animated promo accompanied by a simple but enthusiastic message: “All systems glow for a great #WWDC26 next week!”
The clip features playful music and an animated Apple glow, offering a preview of the energy Apple is building in advance of its June 8 keynote.
New promo video
Apple also published a promotional video on YouTube for anyone who wants a bigger taste of the hype. And there’s an official Apple Music playlist available to soundtrack your countdown to the big day.

Perhaps the most immediately satisfying piece of this rollout for Apple fans is the official WWDC26 wallpaper. It’s available as a free download right now. Apple made full-resolution versions available for iPhone, iPad and Mac. You can get it directly through the WWDC26 wallpaper page on Apple’s developer site.
The design carries through the event’s glowing visual identity. And it makes for a genuinely handsome Home Screen or Lock Screen ahead of the big reveal.
What to expect on June 8
