As expected, the Apple Online Store has gone down hours ahead of today’s special event. When it returns later today (likely shortly after the conclusion of Apple’s keynote), we expect to see new details about the Apple Watch, and whatever else Apple announces at today’s event.

At today’s event, which is scheduled to kick off at 10 am PST, we expect to get some clarification on a number of outstanding Apple Watch queries — related to battery life, cost, apps, availability, and more. There are rumors that we’ll also get the unveiling of the 12-inch MacBook Air, and (sketchier) ones that we’ll see the iPad Pro, although it is likely that at least this second one will arrive much later this year.

Finally, there’s the mystery of just what exactly is under that mystery Apple tent that’s popped up outside Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Whether it’s rows of Apple Geniuses on treadmills, to show off the Apple Watch’s fitness tracking abilities, or a rotating Apple Car on a Lazy Susan, we don’t have long to wait to find out.

We’ll be liveblogging the whole thing here at Cult of Mac, so make sure to join us. You can also watch it live via Apple.com, or on your Apple TV.
