Having problem with downloading apps off the App Store?
You’re not alone. It appears that Apple’s servers are experiencing an outage based on user reports from Twitter that indicate the problem has been on going for over an hour.
The official Apple System Status page does not show that there are any outage, however, DownDetector shows the service has been down since at 3:49PM ET.
Cult of Mac has reached out to Apple for comment on how widespread the outage is and if there is any ETA on a resolution. We’ll let you know if we hear back.
Update: Apple’s System Status page now shows there are confirmed outages on iTunes, App Store, Mac App Store and iBookstore since 11:30AM PT.
