How does the iPhone cost where you live stack up against the rest of the world? Deutsche Bank’s annual “Mapping the World’s Prices” report for 2016 has arrived, and it compares the prices of 20 popular items in global cities around the world — including Apple’s iPhone 6.
The big message? Mainly that you shouldn’t misplace your iPhone while in Brazil, India, Sweden, Denmark, Indonesia, or Italy. Check it out below.

Of course, the fluctuating price of the iPhone isn’t just about Apple being greedy: rising and falling prices depend on exchange rates, import taxes, regional taxes and, in some cases, even seemingly unconnected rules like private copying levies.
Still, in all it sure makes the U.S. cost for an iPhone sound a bit more reasonable, doesn’t it?

dont worry. we are all rich here in Brazil. We can pay more so americans can have a fair price.
oh, and our minimum wage is just above 200 usd.
Isn’t nice to be Brazilian and live like a millionare every day, paying twice by basic services and overspending with industrialized products?
Romania: $841.5 or €750.
How is it $58 cheaper in Canada in 2016 then it was is 2015? I live here, it’s $109 more expensive in 2016, exactly why I didn’t buy a new one. And unless the 7 is at least $109 cheaper than current prices, I won’t be buying one of those either, enough is enough with these prices, not worth it at all.
Sweden has 25% VAT, remove that and you pay 636….
