Apple’s Back to School promotion will now run almost a month longer than its original schedule. It now ends on September 24, instead of August 27.
The extended date applies to the US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Thailand and several other countries.
After a few weeks of delay, Apple’s Back to School promo went live in mid-July. The delay was likely due to the rising DRAM and NAND chip costs, which forced Apple to brutally hike iPad and Mac prices in late June. This also led to the offers not being as attractive this time around.
In previous years, Apple typically kicked off its US promotion in June, giving students plenty of time to make their purchase before the new school year began.
The Back to School promo was originally scheduled to run through August 27. But it will now end on September 24. The almost month-long extension will give teachers and students more time to buy a new Mac or iPad and get a gift card with it. You can use it to buy accessories, software and other devices from Apple’s store or the App Store.

In the United States and Canada, Apple bundles a gift card worth up to $150 with the purchase of an eligible Mac or iPad. Buying a MacBook Pro gets you a $150 gift card, while a MacBook Air, iPad Pro and iPad Air will get you a $100 gift card.
In other Asian countries, Apple bundles a four-pack AirTag (2nd gen) with eligible MacBook Air, MacBook Pro or iPad models.
As always, the offer does not include budget Apple devices or iPhones, including the MacBook Neo, iPad mini and Mac mini.
Do note that the gift card applies on top of the discounted student pricing, making it even more attractive.
