9 of the most famous Apple fanboys of all time

By

There are few Apple fans more enthusiastic than actor, author and TV presenter Stephen Fry, who even dedicates whole chapters of his autobiography to describing the impact the Macintosh had on his life. Fry was in Cupertino for the unveiling of the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and Apple Watch last month. Thoughts from the ever-eloquent thesp? “Want, want, want; drool, drool drool.”That about sums it up.Photo: Stephenfry.uk

Conspicuously missing from your list is Rush Limbaugh, an Apple fanboy if there was one. He uses Macs in his operation, he frequently mentions Apple and its products on his radio show, he’s up on every new product or OS update, and he’s even given away iPhones, iPads or MacBooks to callers he feels have contributed significantly to the show.

But I guess he doesn’t count because he’s one of those icky evil conservatives…

(let the flames and downvotes begin!!)

    • Marcus Garvey says:

Well you see Rush would hate the fact all those icky liberal hollywood types use Apple products too. Especially Fry…since he is a gay man. Oh and can’t forget about Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. He would surely fall off the wagon if he found out he was mentioned in the same article.

  2. Segaboy says:

David – I was going to add that Rush was missing from this list also…he is a HUGE Apple fan and is always going off about what makes the products tick…a nice advertisement for Apple (as if they need one) but nice none the less…Why wasn’t Rush on this list…he is a bigger fanboy than a LOT of the entries on this list…shameful…

Harry Anderson on Night Court was the first “subconscious” Apple advertiser way back in the day. Judge Stone always had a Mac in his office and even had an Outback for a short while. “The Power to Leave the Nest” http://lowendmac.com/clones/outbound.html

    Apple fruit cakes…………

  5. Steve McKenney says:

Nothing about Stephen Colbert? The guy lives and breathes Apple. See his episode from the September 9th if you don’t believe it… the guy is huge about Apple.

  6. Harley Nolan Sr. says:

I also scrolled to the bottom to include their massive oversight. Politics aside, Limbaugh is probably the most visible and most vocal Apple evangelist.

    AND
    Stephen Colbert

I wish Obama would not spend hours a day on his iPad and I don’t know…… Lead the friggin free world and be an example to the third world rather than acting like a third world dictator. Also maybe not arm the people that are now beheading Americans and children as young as 5 along the Iraq and Syria border. Oh and not screw up the an entire nations health care system costing it’s people thousands and thousands more a year. Maybe just maybe he wouldn’t have 5 scandals and cases of corruption and collution going on at the same time.

    • FactCheck says:

Yes, you arm people by dropping bombs on them and screw up a healthcare system and cost people thousands of dollars by not costing people anything and causing the lowest healthcare cost rise in recent history and, for the first time in a while, causing them to lower.

And “5 scandals and cases of corruption and collution (that’s not a word)” is pretty hard to swallow considering the one or two that even sound plausible are based entirely on fictitious history.

Overall I’ll give you 2/10, you made me spend three minutes writing a reply. Whoever paid you is probably paying you too much considering my little brother probably could have seen through it.

Tom Clancy was huge fan, writing many of his books on Macs.

“stuck on BlackBerry” and Windows 7. Luckily Microsoft finally ended support with XP, otherwise we’d be on XP until 2020 and beyond.

  11. 5imo says:

Could of added Stephen Colbert he’s pretty famous and always uses Apple products on his show.
