The final version of iOS 11 is finally ready for developers ahead of the public release later this month.

Developers received the iOS 11 GM version this afternoon following Apple’s keynote bringing a host of last minute bug fixes and performance improvements with it, along with new features specifically created for the iPhone X.

The new Apple TV, expected to make its debut alongside iPhone X at a special event on Tuesday, will need powerful new internals to drive super-sharp 4K video.

According to the latest discoveries in Apple’s own code, “Apple TV 4K” will have just that. It will rock the same processor as the latest iPad Pro — plus ample RAM — to become by far the most powerful Apple TV yet.

Shoppers are discovering that a number of iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch accessories are no longer available in some color options. They are likely being phased out before new accessories for Apple’s next-generation devices arrive this fall.

iPhone 8’s blazing A11 chip enters mass-production

Apple manufacturing partner TSMC has reportedly started mass-production of the A11 chip that will power the iPhone 8.

The new chip is said to be based on a 10-nanometer manufacturing process, which should make it faster and more efficient than the 16-nanometer A10 Fusion in the iPhone 7.

Early benchmarks suggest it will be even faster than the A10X Fusion chip in the latest iPad Pros.
