Smart speakers are something we expect to see a whole lot of at this year’s CES 2019, and the House of Marley isn’t disappointing us with its effort to get things moving.
Among the multiple new products the company has announced at the Consumer Electronics Show, one of the coolest is a portable Bluetooth speaker that runs Google Assistant. All packaged up in a natural bamboo and organic materials package, just as nature intended!
Apple doesn’t really make its presence felt directly at CES. However, at 2019’s event it has ramped up its focus somewhat. No, Apple’s not unveiling the Apple Car at the gigantic tech lover’s event, but it did invite reporters to meet with a number of third-party companies who have created HomeKit devices for smart homes.

These can be used for either standing your iPad up, using the oversized hands for balance, or wrapping them around car seats for safe viewing on the go.
It would have sounded unthinkable just a couple years ago, but long-time Apple frenemy Samsung has announced that its Smart TVs will offer iTunes Movies and TV Shows and Apple AirPlay 2 support.
Support will be baked into the new 2019 models, and made available to 2018 models via a firmware update.

CES 2019 — the biggest electronics trade show in the world — is set to kick off in Las Vegas next week where nearly every tech company on the planet (except Apple) will be showing off their latest wares.
