Apple’s new digs in Chicago are shaping up to be one of its most beautiful flagship stores ever, based on new renderings released by the iPhone-maker.
The current structure Apple is renovating on North Michigan Avenue doesn’t look like much, but once it’s finished, the new Apple store will feature massive glass walls an inviting open layout.

Apple employees are set to move into the Apple spaceship campus just next month, but based on the recent drone footage there’s still a lot of work to be done on Apple Park.
Crews can be seen finishing construction and landscaping work in the new aerial footage. While the tunnel, parking structures, fitness center and side buildings look nearly completely, the Steve Jobs theater doesn’t look ready to host a keynote yet.
Apple’s new spaceship campus is set to open to the public in April, but if you can’t make the drive all the way out to Cupertino, you can check out the new site on Apple Maps.

Apple will announce its next-generation iPad lineup next month during its very first event at Apple Park, according to a new report.
Sources say that production of the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro has been brought forward for the launch. The device is expected to be accompanied by an updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro and a more affordable 9.7-inch iPad.
A new Apple Park drone video shows just how close Apple’s spaceship office complex is to completion.
Installation of hundreds of solar panels on the roof of Apple Park’s cavernous garage is now done, while those being positioned on the main building’s roof are almost finished as well. With the bulk of the work on buildings like the Steve Jobs Theater now complete, workers are now moving on to landscaping elements, like planting the trees that will decorate the massive HQ.

Apple’s enormous new campus finally has an official name: Apple Park.
Previously known as the “spaceship” campus or the minimalist Campus 2, the 175-acre plot will open for business in April, although work won’t officially be completed until late summer.
