There’s a pretty amazing demo of augmented reality technology at the new Apple Park visitor center.

The visitor center — which opened to the public on Tuesday afternoon — features a large-scale model of the new campus.

The model is large but bare bones. It looks like a classic architectural model with plain mockups of the buildings and the campus’ contours.

But pick up a nearby iPad, point the camera at the model, and it suddenly springs to life with lifelike plants, trees, and details galore. Check out the video below.

The next iPhone keynote has been officially revealed by Apple today.

After months of anticipation and a flurry of rumors, Apple finally sent out media invites to its big iPhone 8 event today, welcoming the press to come to Apple Park for the big date.

The race to complete Apple Park’s Steve Jobs Theater before the iPhone 8 unveiling looks nearly over in the latest drone video that showcases Apple’s spaceship campus.

Construction crews are still spread across the gorgeous grounds putting the finishing touches on landscaping and other projects but from the look of things, it won’t be long before Apple employees finally move in.

Getting your hands on Apple’s next generation iPhone won’t be cheap.

According to the latest report from the New York Times, the iPhone 8’s price tag will start out at a whopping $999, making it the most expensive smartphone Apple’s ever introduced.

Apple could come close to doubling its 25,000 Santa Clara Valley employees in the coming years, based on Apple’s aggressive long-term office space leasing in the region.

Its latest long-term lease is two buildings — collectively totaling 73,000 square feet — in Sunnyvale, near its 13,000 person Apple Park campus. Apple also leases another nearby 105,000 square foot building around three blocks away.

Apple’s enormous $5 billion Apple Park campus has come a long way in the past two years, as a new video makes clear.

Taken by Planet Labs, a company with the goal of selling high-resolution satellite imaging, it depicts construction on the new headquarters from September 2015 through the present day. Check it out below.

This morning, the iPhone maker issued a new $1 billion bond on with a special rule that proceeds raised from the bond sale will go towards investment in renewable energy projects.
