A new Apple TV 4K, powered by the company’s A12X chip from 2018’s 11-inch iPad Pro, is primed to drop any day, claims tipster Jon Prosser.
“Apple got no chill right now,” Prosser tweeted Thursday. He adds that he has not yet heard a projected date of release.

Predicting Apple’s cavalcade of new products
Reliable leaker Jon Prosser previously predicted the launch date of the iPhone SE accurately. He also tweeted about the launch of the new 13-inch MacBook Pro shortly before Apple officially announced it.
Earlier this week, Prosser said that Apple has new iMac and AirPods refreshes for 2020 that are “ready to ship.” If this is accurate, then Prosser’s 100% correct about Apple having “no chill” at present. With no March keynote to unveil products, and WWDC going virtual this year, it seems Cupertino is using the element of surprise to make up for the lack of live events in front of fans to do product launches.
In his tweet, Prosser says that the new Apple TV will be available in 64GB and 128GB models. This 6th gen Apple TV would be the first update to Apple’s streaming media box since the 5th gen version debuted in September 2017. The 5th gen Apple TV is available in 32GB and 64GB versions, with an A10X Fusion chip. According to Prosser, the more powerful A12X chip will allow a more gaming-oriented focus for the new Apple TV.
