iPhone 15 Pro Max Vision is a version of Apple’s premier handset modified so it matches the look of the Vision Pro AR headset. It’s from Dubai-based Caviar, and is actually a beautiful option for someone who uses both devices.
But buyers will need deep pockets. The modification adds tremendously to the cost of the iPhone.
And you have to see Caviar’s crazy mod that turns a Samsung S24 Ultra into a Tesla Cybertruck. Both creations are part of Caviar’s Future collection, designed to reflect “the most prominent futuristic hits,” according to the company.
iPhone 15 Pro Max Vision is gorgeous but pricy
Caviar is a luxury brand known for its over-the-top versions of Apple products. Some of these seem a bit silly, like one that celebrates Russian President Vladimir Putin and another embedded with a thread from one of Steve Jobs’ signature black turtleneck sweaters.
The company often relies on gold for its wild Apple mods, creating pricey versions of iPhones as well as AirPods Pro, AirPods Max and Vision Pro. But its latest creation borrows heavily from Vision Pro’s aluminum chassis and distinctive design details.
An iPhone that looks like a Vision Pro
The iPhone 15 Pro Max Vision is a clever idea that’s well-executed. Caviar took design elements from Apple’s new AR headset and brought them to the iPhone.
“The owners of Apple Vision Pro are offered to choose a custom smartphone that will complement their headset,” says Caviar. “The design features unique elements – color accents, smooth lines of Apple Vision Pro, imitation of the lower panel, recognizable texture of the headset.”
Just so there’s no confusion, the modifications don’t add any functionality to the handset. The changes are cosmetic. Also, Caviar isn’t offering a case. It modifies the actual iPhone 15 Pro Max with a chassis of Caviar’s design.
That’s part of the reason why the iPhone 15 Pro Max Vision starts at $8,060. It can be ordered today on the Caviar website.
Samsung S24 Ultra Cybertruck is just crazy
While the iPhone mod is bold and daring, the design Caviar created to merge Samsung’s premier Android smartphone and a Tesla Cybertruck is just coo-coo crazy pants.
The company realizes the design is unusual, calling it a “fantastic novelty.” Caviar describes it as “a mini version of Tesla Cybertruck made on the Samsung S24 Ultra chassis.”
As noted, sometimes Caviar’s designs stray over the line into being too over the top. This Android model flies over that line riding a flaming motorcycle while holding two American flags and jumping 17 school buses.
Prices start at $8,770 on the Caviar website.
