You sunk more than a grand to buy a shiny, new iPhone 11 Pro.

But that shine – or your $1,000 – are nothing compared to Caviar’s latest custom job – a $70,000 handset with diamonds and the same amount of gold in a brick.

Yes, that iPhone is heavy but the weight will balance out with the lighter pocket for its eventual buyer (at that price, Caviar only made one).

The Moscow-based jeweler is known for modified iPhones that make the rest of us feel like Russian peasants. Caviar seems to use gold-plating and rare gems the way Apple uses brushed aluminum.

It’s not uncommon for a Caviar mod to cost more than $10,000. A recent phone included a fragment of the capsule that carried the first man into space. That was only $33,000.

What makes the iPhone 11 Pro Caviar calls Solarius worth $70,300?

A half-kilo of gold and 137 diamonds for starters. A tourbillion watch is built into the backplate with concentric circles of gold and diamonds in constant motion. On the watch faces is a yellow diamond, also known as a sun stone.

Caviar does not include a security guard with purchase.

Caviar says its the most expensive iPhone in the world. That could be, though the rapper Drake paid more than $400,000 to a jeweler to create an iPhone X case covered in blue diamonds.

If you’re feeling a little light on cash, Caviar has other handsets in its Discovery line. It has iPhones with pieces of meteorite, certified as originating from Mars and the moon (only 19 copies of each are available). It also has 99 iPhone 11 Pros that include pieces of the Tsarev meteorite.

Those models, which also include the built-in timepiece, range in price from a more reasonable $5,280 to $8,130.
