The new AirPods Pro 2 version that comes with a USB-C case was only unveiled last week, and is not yet launched, but you can already save $50 off the cost. That’s quick work.
Plus, Apple’s new top-of-the-line wireless earbuds bring some additional features besides the port change, including additional dust resistance.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 updated with USB-C and more
Most notably, the charging case now boasts a USB-C port because Apple is finally dumping the old Lightning connector. The switch in ports makes the updated version of AirPods Pro 2 the best match for the iPhone 15 series, which also uses USB-C.
If you want the new port, you must buy a whole new pair of wireless earbuds. They are not sold separately (at least for now).
USB-C is not the only change, though. The newest version has an IP54 rating, which means that they now offer limited protection from dust and other articles.
And if you have your heart set on an Apple Vision Pro headset when it debuts in 2024, you probably want a pair of these new headphones. When working together, these two devices can handle 20-bit, 48 kHz Lossless Audio.
All AirPods Pro 2 models, new and old, get access to new audio features with iOS 17, including Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness.
Save 20% even before the launch
The regular price for AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C charging case is $249.99. But Best Buy said “pish posh” and went ahead and knocked $50 off the cost.
So you can get Apple’s newest wireless earbuds for $199.99 while this deal lasts.
Buy it from: Best Buy
What makes this deal amazing is that AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C charging case isn’t even on the market yet. It’ll start reaching customers on Friday, September 22. And Best Buy says that an order placed Monday will ship on or before that date. Or you can pick up Apple’s upgraded AirPods Pro 2 at one of Best Buy’s retail stores.
