Today at Apple’s “Wonderlust” event, while people tuned in to hear about iPhone 15 and Apple Watch, Cupertino had just one piece of news to share about Vision Pro. Apple CEO Tim Cook kicked off the event saying the device is still “on track to ship early next year.”
Vision Pro is still coming on time

Apple announced Vision Pro back in June at WWDC, the Worldwide Developer Conference, but the product is not planned to launch until early next year. Just in case anyone tuning in to hear about the new iPhone hadn’t heard, Apple reminded us about their exciting new product.
While there is still more to polish on the next-generation product, development is on time to launch “early next year,” according to CEO Tim Cook — although that could mean anywhere from three to six months from now.
Vision Pro has to keep cooking for a few more months

While Apple typically only announces products when they’re ready to ship, the long lead time gives developers a chance to create apps for the all-new platform. The company published videos explaining how to design for visionOS in June, releasing the software development kit shortly after.
Developers started sharing their early creations on social media within the next few days. By August, Apple selectively invited developers to test their apps on prerelease hardware.
Rumors from attendees suggest the product is far from fully polished, but Apple’s confidence indicates it is still on track.
