We know not to expect Vision Pro to go on sale until early next year, yet accessories for the AR/VR headset unveiled at WWDC23 are starting to show up already.
Phone case maker Casetify previewed a lineup called Bounce Vision Friday.
Casetify Bounce Vision accessories
Casetify seems to be among the first to unveil its wares for Vision Pro, touted at WWDC23 as Apple’s first Spatial Computing device, though its hefty price tag got a lot of the attention in the media.
“Our mission is to empower self-expression, and Bounce Vision is here to do just that,” said Wes Ng, Casetify’s CEO and cofounder.
He added:
Our platform provides users with the opportunity to fully customize their tech gadget accessories, allowing them to stand out effortlessly, this time with Apple Vision Pro. With plenty of customization options at their fingertips, customers can create accessories that authentically reflect their personality and style when rocking their latest gadget from Apple.
Along those lines, the Bounce Vision lineup of “changeable headbands, protective bumper-style cases for the external display, neck straps, cushions for the eyepiece and more” features expansive color and design choices, Casetify said.
Drop protection and customizability
The name of the product lineup, Bounce Vision, comes from Casetify’s Bounce range of tough cases for iPhone. And the Bounce Vision accessories will be protective as well as customizable, according to the company:
Casetify’s Bounce Vision collection provides professional-grade drop protection while remaining sleek and stylish. Customers can choose personalized color combinations, preferred patterns, textures and more, and can even add their personal touch by uploading their own designs or photos.
Casetify may provide more information, including pricing, relatively soon. But you can expect the products to come out around the time Vision Pro does — most likely early 2024.
