The new Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand props up your MacBook at a range of angles, and can also lift the computer to a variety of heights. As a bonus, it also rotates so the notebook can be easily spun around.

I tested Lululook’s latest stand in my home office, and it’s an outstanding addition to a MacBook-centered setup.

Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand review

Sleek MacBooks are so very portable, but aren’t ideal to work on all day every day. You can’t tilt the keyboard and the display isn’t anywhere near eye level. The situation is even worse if your setup includes an external keyboard.

The new Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand is a brilliant solution. It can handle just about any way of positioning a MacBook one might want.

The all-aluminum stand can also be used with an iPad, whether the computer is in a keyboard case or not.

The Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand starts with a round base that’s 7.75 inches across. It provides a firm foundation for holding up your precious MacBook. It’s possible to arrange the stand so it’s unstable, but you have to work at it.

The base is circular so the whole stand can rotate. This is convenient when two people are sharing a computer.

The stand uses a dual-hinge design, one at each end of the support arm, allowing you to position your computer as needed. If you want minimal elevation but the keyboard tilted up, you can do that. Minimal elevation is about 1.75 inches.

Or you can unfold Lululook’s stand so MacBook’s front edge is about 6 inches off the tabletop. From there, the bottom of the display can be roughly 10 inches above the table. That puts it at eye level for me.

There’s no cause for concern that the Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand will collapse. The hinges are tight and don’t slip at all. A brace at the front keeps the notebook from sliding off.

You can put a computer as large as a 16-inch MacBook Pro on the stand. I tested it with a smaller laptop, and it fit too.

Even the best MacBooks can heat up, and this product is designed to dissipate that heat. The plate that holds the laptop has holes for better air circulation, and the aluminum alloy body helps, too.

The stand folds making it reasonably portable. It weighs 3.2 pounds, and folds to be 1.75 inches thick, so it’ll go into a backpack.

An iPad stand, too

The Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand isn’t only for laptops. It works well with my iPad, too.

I can configure it so the screen is propped up, and the tablet is several inches above the tabletop. That’s an ideal arrangement when using an external keyboard and mouse/trackpad.

Or if you keep your iPad in a clamshell keyboard case, the stand works like it does with any other laptop.

Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand final thoughts

This is one of the best MacBook stands I’ve ever tried. It is very well made, looks attractive, and does everything I want a notebook stand to do.

The closest I can come to criticism is that the Lululook Foldable Laptop Stand isn’t really designed to be used on the go. It’s a bit bulky for that. If you’re looking for a travel model, you might look elsewhere. That said, it is small enough to easily fold down and fit in a drawer.
