We usually prefer to feature sunny or exotic or just-plain-fun computer setups on Fridays, but today a dark and brooding one caught our eye. A 13-inch M1-powered MacBook Pro and a 34-inch LG curved ultra-wide display are at its center.
But the “cozy productivity corner” also features excellent input devices, formidable audio and a rather nice standing desk.

‘Cozy productivity corner’ runs on M1 MacBook Pro and LG UltraWide display
Redditor OsmiumOG (“Oz”) displayed the setup in a post entitled, “My cozy little productivity and light gaming corner.”
Oz’s 13-inch M1 MacBook Pro drives the 34-inch LG Curved UltraWide QHD 4K display via a CalDigit USB-C dock.
The well-regarded but somewhat pricey BenQ Screenbar Monitor Light sits atop the screen. It features auto-dimming and hue-adjustment capabilities.
The tried-and-true Logitech MX Keys wireless keyboard and MX Master 3 wireless mouse handle input duties while sitting on an Orbitkey leather desk mat. Those peripherals are among the most popular input devices we see online.
On either side of the monitor stand Edifier 1850BT Active Bookshelf Speakers. The Bluetooth speakers feature a wireless remote control. A powerful subwoofer might lurk under or next to the desk, but it’s too dark to see.
Underlying all of this gear is a solid standing desk. Oz mounted a butcher block made of birch — “real, not Ikea,” he said — finished with an English black walnut stain on a set of motorized Autonomous sit/stand desk legs.
All in all, it’s a nice workstation.
And if you like that desktop wallpaper on the display, you can find it here. And you can find all the gear in the list below. Happy Friday!
