They’re all part of Razer’s growing productivity suite, which includes an ultra-portable laptop, an HD webcam, stands, chargers, the Opus X over-ear headphones and the Hammerhead true wireless earbuds.

Razer Pro Type Ultra mechanical keyboard

Razer’s Pro Type Ultra mechanical keyboard uses a full-size layout, like similar Razer models. But is employs quieter Razer Yellow linear mechanical switches rather than the regular Pro Type’s Orange tactile switches. The Ultra also adds sound-dampening foam inside to help mellow out the clacking.

The wireless keyboard can connect to up to three Bluetooth devices and one other device using its 2.4GHz USB-A receiver. Because it’s a new unifying receiver, it takes just one adapter to wirelessly connect the keyboard and new Pro Click Mini mouse to a computer.

The Pro Type Ultra also boasts long battery life compared to the regular Pro Type — up to about 214 hours with the backlight off (backlighting turned up to full brightness reduces that considerably).

You can program the keyboard with Razer’s Synapse desktop app, which is the same app the gaming peripherals use. (the same one used for its gaming peripherals). The keyboard also comes with a palm rest.

Where to buy: Razer said the keyboard, priced at $159.99, will come out before the end of 2021. It should be available for purchase at Razer or Amazon.

The Razer Pro Click Mini is the working professional’s version of the company’s Orochi V2 gaming mouse. Razer shaped the Pro Click Mini slightly differently and included a rocker switch behind the scroll wheel. That helps you quickly change scrolling modes, from a tactile, for moving line-by-line, to a fast spin for cruising down web pages or long documents.

The mouse can connect over Bluetooth or the included 2.4GHz unifying dongle. Razer said it used used silent switches that are more durable than the ones in its full-size Pro Click mouse.

The new mouse is not rechargeable but takes one or two AA batteries. Choosing one rather than two batteries makes the mouse lighter for those with that preference.

The Razer Pro Click Mini mouse is available at Razer or Amazon for $79.99.

XXL means XXL. This thing is big.
XXL means XXL. This thing is big. There’s plenty of room for a keyboard and some exaggerated mousing.
