Spotify’s newest update on iOS, out Thursday, lets users control their music using Siri on Apple Watch. Simply add “on Spotify” to the end of your voice commands to play your favorites artists, albums, playlists, and more.

Changes in iOS 13 last fall finally gave third-party music streaming apps the ability to integrate with Siri. Spotify was quick to take advantage of that on iPhone, and now the same functionality is extending to watchOS.

Apple Watch owners who are using the latest watchOS 6 software can now control Spotify playback using Siri commands.

The same voice commands you might already use to play songs and albums in Apple Music can now be used with Spotify — so long as you remember to add “on Spotify” to the end of them.

For instance, you can say things like, “Hey Siri, play Bob Dylan on Spotify,” or “Hey Siri, play After Hours by The Weeknd on Spotify.” If you’re not sure what to listen to, just say “play music on Spotify,” and Spotify will decide for you.

The same commands can also be used with iPad, CarPlay, AirPods, and HomePod. On Apple Watch, you must be running watchOS 6, and you’ll need the latest version of Spotify installed on your iPhone.

You can download that release — version 8.5.52 — from the App Store now.
