Thanksgiving Day is a great time to sit around with family and chow down on delicious food. But you should remember to get your exercise in during the holiday. To offer a bit of added incentive, Apple issued a special Thanksgiving Day Challenge for Apple Watch owners.
Here’s how you can earn it.
Keep active this Thanksgiving! Earn this special award on November 28 by doing any walk, run, or wheelchair workout of at least 5K (3.1mi). #AppleWatch. #CloseYourRings #Thanksgiving2019 pic.twitter.com/K4xf7NSeSc

The Thanksgiving badge is only available on November 28. To win it, you need to complete a walk, run or wheelchair workout of at least 5 kilometers (3.1 miles).
Apple offers a constantly changing series of localized activity challenges around the world to celebrate different holidays. People who complete these challenges earn exclusives badges in the Activity app, plus animated stickers for Messages and FaceTime.
The content of the activity challenges changes according to the event. For example, the recent Veterans Day Challenge required participants to complete a workout of 11 minutes or more: appropriate given the November 11 date. Meanwhile, this summer’s event for China’s Fitness Day required people to record a workout of 30 minutes or more. This variation keeps Apple’s Activity challenges interesting.
