Pixelmator for iOS, everyone’s favorite Photoshop alternative, has finally been updated to support the newest lineup of iPad Pros and Apple Pencil 2.

The update, version 2.4.4, also brings a whole host of bug fixes and improvements.

Pixelmator is one of our favorite apps on iOS. It’s considerably more affordable than Photoshop. And for on-the-go photo editing, drawing and graphic design, it’s perfect.

Feature-packed and powerful, Pixelmator just keeps getting better.

Pixelmator for iOS now plays nicely with 2018 iPad Pros

The latest version of Pixelmator for iOS finally brings optimizations for the 2018 iPad Pro lineup. That means it will look and work better than ever on your stunning edge-to-edge Retina display. It also adds support for Apple Pencil 2 and its awesome double-tap gesture.

Developer Pixelmator Team also squashed a bunch of big bugs with Pixelmator for iOS 2.4.4.

The noise, hue and miniaturize effects in the Photos extension are no longer broken. Plus, deselecting a layer after moving a selection inside the Pixelmator app now works as intended. The update also brings a welcome fix for an incorrectly centered canvas.
