A game where you flip bacon through the air doesn’t sound, on paper, like it should be a winner. But when it comes from Philipp Stollenmayer, the app developer who previously created the brilliant Sometimes You Die, things become a whole lot more interesting.

Check out the trailer for the third part in Stollenmayer’s food game trilogy below. If you’re looking for a fun (albeit offbeat) game for the weekend, this could be the one for you!

Bacon — The Game follows Pancake — The Game and Burger — The Game. They’re all fun, one-tap mobile games based on crazy physics. The controls in Bacon are ultra-simple: Simply touch to raise the bacon pan and release to lower it.

What follows are 100 short levels in which your objective is to throw a strip of bacon on top of an object — ranging from pancakes and ice cream to, err, Kevin Bacon, lines of code and the Eiffel Tower. En route, you’ll learn tricks like sliding the bacon strips through holes, throwing the greasy food greater distances and more. The best shots can be shared on social media.

The game is totally free to download from the App Store. Well, that’s your weekend sorted then. Unless you’re a vegetarian!
