The upcoming 2016 MacBook Pro is rumored to feature only USB-C ports, much like last year’s MacBook refresh.

If you’re hoping to get an external display to go with your shiny new laptop, right now the options are somewhat limited. Luckily, the stunning new LG Electronics 27UD88 monitor will provide you with everything you need.

LG Electronics 27UD88: stunning design

From its beautiful, virtually bezel-less physical appearance to the gorgeously vibrant 4K images it throws out, the LG Electronics 27UD88 is one monitor you need to see to believe.

The amazing stand isn’t just there to look good. The screen can rotate 90 degrees for a vertical portrait mode as well as adjust its height and angle. There are ports for pretty much anything I’d ever need; two USB 3.0 ports (one of which offers Quick Charge), two HDMI 2.0, USB-C ports, a display port and a headphone jack.

The color and brightness of the screen blow away my Cinema Display. The LG monitor covers 97.6 percent of the sRGB spectrum, meaning it’s a great choice for those who need accurate colors.

The screen offers plenty of modes and features such as a picture-by-picture, plus presets for movies, games, reading and more. Or if you’re a perfectionist, you can alter colors individually.

I’d particularly recommend the LG Electronics 27UD88 to serious gamers because of its black stabilizer, which boosts visibility even when you’re playing through darker game levels.

At the end of the day, this is a monitor that’s going to be the highlight of anyone’s desk. Money very well spent!
