Google isn’t waiting until its I/O conference next week to put its latest app in your hands. The company today launched Spaces for Android, iOS, and the web, making it easy to share just about anything with your favorite groups of friends.

No one can put all their friends into one group. You might have friends you’ve made at work, friends you met in college, and friends you’ve been friends with since you were in diapers. But no matter how many groups of friends you have, Spaces makes sharing with them easy.

Google Search, YouTube, and Chrome are all built right into the Spaces app, so you can find great content without jumping from place to place. And when you stumble across something you know your friends will love, sharing it with the right group takes just a few taps.

The conversational view lets you discuss shared content right there alongside it, and if you miss something that was shared earlier, a simple search will help you find it.

To start creating your own Spaces, download the app today from the App Store or Google Play, and then get your friends involved. You can invite them via email, text message, or a social network. We’ll update this post as soon as Spaces go lives.
