Under the watchful eye of Tim Cook Apple’s gone from the most powerful tech company in the world to the most green. Yesterday’s new ad shone the spotlight on Apple’s environmental practices but the true celebrations of going green kicked off today for Earth Day.
Select Apple Stores around the world sprouted green leafed logos to go with new Earth Day shirts and lanyards for Specialists and Geniuses, but rather than driving all the way to your local store we’ve gathered shots of Apple Stores near and far celebrating Apple’s pledge to leave the world better than they found it.

Earth Day Genius Lanyards
Apple Store Geniuses were given a new green shirt for work today with the green Apple logo, along with new lanyards that read “Every day is Earth Day at Apple.”
The Apple Store at the Louvre in Paris always looks stunning but the green flair still manages to pop in a sea of masterpieces.
Not a single person walking past this Apple Store in Japan seems impressed with Apple’s green leaf.
Apple’s stores on Regent Street and Covent Garden in London received the Apple Earth Day package.
Shoppers at the store in Hong Kong descend down Apple’s gorgeous glass staircase with the green logo overviewing the city.

Apple Stores aren’t the only spots enjoying some Earth Day celebrations.
Apple HQ had its own green Apple logo ceremoniously draped on the building along with a company Beer-Bash at lunch followed by a Jack Johnson concert to add to the festivities.
