Ahead of Earth Day on April 22, Apple TV+ debuted Friday a new animated short movie titled Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth. Featuring an impressive cast of voice talents including the much celebrated Meryl Streep, Chris O’Dowd, Preacher‘s Ruth Negga, and Room‘s Jacob Tremblay, the half-hour animated short is available to watch for subscribers right now.

Apple revealed today that Streep will lend her vocal talents to the company’s animated Earth Day short film, Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth. The roster also includes vocal performances by Chris O’Dowd, Jacob Tremblay, and Ruth Negga.

Apple store workers are busting out their green shirts and turning the Apple logo green. Meanwhile the company has come out with a few ways for fans to participate with Apple Watch challenges, shot on iPhone nature photos and news about Apple’s mangrove conservation efforts.

Apple Store logos have begun going green in celebration of Earth Day, the annual event intended to show support for environmental protection. While Earth Day doesn’t actually take place until this Sunday, this year — as in previous years — Apple has tweaked the logo on its stores two days early.
The recolored logo includes a green leaf in place of the usual all-white logo. Staff at the Apple Stores also wear green shirts for the days, instead of their usual blue ones.
As part of Apple’s Earth Day 2018 initiative, the company unveiled Liam’s replacement today named Daisy. The new robot borrows some of the technology from Liam to make an even more efficient iPhone disassembly machine.
Earth Day 2017 has long since passed but Apple’s still not done busting out its quirky videos that celebrate the company’s green environmental protection initiatives.
In Apple’s latest hand-drawn ad published today, the company showcased its efforts to preserve forests so that the paper used in all of its packaging is done in a sustainable way. With a goal of preserving nearly 1 million acres of forest by 2020, Apple hopes 99% of the fibers and papers will come responsible sources and recycling.

The four new videos highlight the crazy things Apple does to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Retail staff will also be rocking special green shirts for the week — celebrating the fact that select brick-and-mortar retail stores belonging to Apple now run on renewable energy.

Under the watchful eye of Tim Cook Apple’s gone from the most powerful tech company in the world to the most green. Yesterday’s new ad shone the spotlight on Apple’s environmental practices but the true celebrations of going green kicked off today for Earth Day.
Select Apple Stores around the world sprouted green leafed logos to go with new Earth Day shirts and lanyards for Specialists and Geniuses, but rather than driving all the way to your local store we’ve gathered shots of Apple Stores near and far celebrating Apple’s pledge to leave the world better than they found it.
Back in the early 80s Apple greeted the arrival of IBM PCs with a snarky full page newspaper ad reading, “Welcome, IBM. Seriously.”
In the past few years, however, Apple’s claws haven’t come out all that often when it comes to taking rivals down a peg or two.
In fact, most of the recent sideways swipes involving Apple tend to be other companies (normally Samsung) taking shots at Apple, rather than the other way around.
Well, the tables have turned in a new print ad which appeared in the UK’s Guardian and free commuter paper Metro today.
