Every so often a computer setup on social media throws me for a loop with some odd visual — and it’s often related to desirable gear. Today’s M4 Mac mini workstation looks like it keeps a pair of walkie-talkies in the mix. But they’re actually computer speakers with tall, stick-like Govee light bars for gaming sitting right behind them. The way the light bars stick up makes them looks like antennas.

M4 Mac mini and PlayStation 5 setup’s Govee light bars pulsate along with games
Netherlands-based Redditor no_judgement98 (“Noj”) showcased the compact setup in a post they titled “My Mac mini M4 setup.” Their M4 Mac mini and a PlayStation 5 go along with a 27-inch Gigbyte 1440p gaming monitor and a Steelseries Arctis Nova 5 Wireless Gaming Headset. But what stuck out for me were those weird sticks that look like they jut from the Logitech computer speakers like antennas, making them look like walkie-talkies. But the “sticks” actually sit just behind the speakers. And they’re gaming light bars.

“First ever computer setup, what do you think?” asked Noj. “New mouse pad is on the way! I need to figure out what to do with the cables, I’ve tried to hide them all but still not how I want it.” Well, even the most experienced setup owner struggles with cable management.
“How is the gaming experience on M4?” someone asked.
“I haven’t tested heavy gaming on the Mac because I use my PS5 for gaming,” Noj replied. “But light games like RuneScape, Dredge, etc. are working fine. Overall I’m happy with the Mac mini; it runs smoothly, no issues whatsoever!”

So Noj is a gamer, and much more-so with a PlayStation 5 than their Mac mini. And the light bars look like a lot of fun for any gamer, but especially PC and console gamers. With all their color and light matching gaming visuals, they increase the sense of immersion for the player.
Gaming light bar features:
- Smart LED light bars enhance gaming immersion with 60+ scene modes and more.
- Govee’s RGBIC technology makes every part of the light bars emit different color lights to create more lighting effects. Choose from 16.8 million colors for DIY lighting effects with a personal touch.
- Gaming light bars react to sounds from your games or videos. Not only can they sync with audio from speakers, they pick up sounds from headphones.
- Desktop dial controller adjusts brightness, changes the modes and colors, and turns the light bars on/off.
- Use voice assistant devices to turn your lights on and off, change scene modes and more with smart voice control (works with Alexa and Google Assistant).
- Sync with Razer Chroma: Govee gaming light bars H6047 support Razer Synapse 3. Download the Govee Home App on your phone and Razer Synapse 3 and Govee Desktop App on your PC to get started.
