Thanks to PayPal integration, it’s now possible for users in 22 different countries to send money to friends and family using Skype’s iOS app.
The update not only improves Skype’s functionality, but also — due to the fact that Skype has been downloaded more than one billion times worldwide — greatly extends the possible reach of PayPal, too.

Amazon is reportedly launching its own messaging app to rival Apple’s Messages, among others.
Called “Anytime,” the service will reportedly boast voice and video calls, and possible photo-sharing, with the obligatory filters for photos and video with “special effects and masks.” More interestingly, it will also focus on group activities, such as playing games, listening to music, and — here’s the big one — ordering food.

Members of Apple’s public beta software program can get their hands on the second public build of iOS 11 today.
The new beta build was made available this morning, bringing a host of performance improvements, UI changes and new features that take the iPhone and iPad to an all-new level. macOS High Sierra public beta 2, watchOS 4 beta 2 and tvOS 11 beta 2 are also available to download.
The new iOS 11 beta (developer v3) has a whole bunch of neat tweaks, but the best might be the changes made to Control Center. It has a new animation, a new way to kill running apps, and a big improvement to the interactive widgets, including brightness and volume.
