The tech journalists lucky enough to get invited to Apple’s iPhone event Tuesday seemed to purr when given the chance to put the iPhone X in their hands.

From the tenth anniversary iPhone X to a next-gen Apple Watch and a 4K Apple TV, tomorrow’s Apple keynote is going to be a packed affair. However, Apple could potentially have one more thing to announce at the event: a brand new iPod touch.

Last updated in July 2015, a new iPod touch is long overdue. According to the recently-released treasure of iOS 11 developer code, a new model could be in the works. The most exciting bit? Its code hints at the same facial recognition technology the new iPhone will sport.

According to the studio head of 20th Century Fox, a deal allowing customers to watch movies in their own home just weeks after they’ve debuted in theaters is likely to be finalized in the next 6-12 months — with prices set at “less than $50.”

Up until now, media companies like Apple have been pushing for some kind of premium on-demand deal, but negotiations have been slow due to studios dragging their feet. However, at this week’s Bank of America Merrill Lynch media conference in Los Angeles, Fox studio boss Stacey Snider says that finally talks, “have started to coalesce around a concept.”

The offer is a great way of the companies staying competitive with the likes of Amazon and Apple, both of who offer their own $5 a month low-cost student plans.

The other depicts what may be the most fun oddball pairing so far as Shaquille O’Neal goes on a drive with one of WWE’s most popular wrestlers — and his name is John Cena.

The seventh beta builds for iOS 11, macOS High Sierra, watchOS 4 and tvOS 11 were all seeded to developers. While previous betas have added a host of changes, the new builds focus mostly on bug fixes and under-the-hood improvements which could mean Apple’s nearly done fine-tuning the new software updates.
