Tile takes complaints about Apple to the EU Commission

Tile, a startup that makes location-aware tracking tags, told the European Commission’s Competition department that Apple isn’t playing fair. It claims the iPhone maker has moved to “completely disadvantage” its smaller rival, even as Apple prepares to launch its own tracking tags.

The accessory maker told the U.S. government the same thing earlier this year.

Xfinity Mobile subscribers can now add 5G service to their wireless phone service at no extra cost. This includes every plan offered by the telecom, not just pricy unlimited plans.

This company resells Verizon services, and that carrier now has 5G in parts of 34 major cities.

Ubisoft sues Apple for hosting a game it claims is a massive Rainbox Six: Siege ripoff

Ubisoft is none too happy about a mobile game it claims is way too similar to one of its own games, Rainbox Six: Siege. It says that the game, called Area F2, borrows “virtually every aspect” of Ubisoft’s own title.

While the alleged ripoff title is made by Alibaba’s Ejoy and Qookka Games, Ubisoft is suing Apple and Google for hosting it on their respective app store platforms, says a Bloomberg article published over the weekend.
