iTunes U is being expelled. Parts of this education application are being replaced by other teaching aids developed by Apple. But the company won‘t continue to offer free classes.

Zoom had another stellar month in the App Store as people worked from home during the coronavirus pandemic. According to a new report by Sensor Tower, published Thursday, Zoom received 94.6 million installs on iOS and Android last month. That is up a massive 43x compared to May 2019.

Xfinity Mobile subscribers can now add 5G service to their wireless phone service at no extra cost. This includes every plan offered by the telecom, not just pricy unlimited plans.

This company resells Verizon services, and that carrier now has 5G in parts of 34 major cities.

Ubisoft is none too happy about a mobile game it claims is way too similar to one of its own games, Rainbox Six: Siege. It says that the game, called Area F2, borrows “virtually every aspect” of Ubisoft’s own title.

While the alleged ripoff title is made by Alibaba’s Ejoy and Qookka Games, Ubisoft is suing Apple and Google for hosting it on their respective app store platforms, says a Bloomberg article published over the weekend.
