The new Samsung folding phone will reportedly launch next year and instead of folding out into a tablet, the new design folds inward to make the phone more pocketable.

Samsung’s #greendontcare GIFs are the weirdest Apple diss ever

A look at some of Samsung's Apple-dissing GIFs.

Samsung seems pretty triggered (as the kids say) by people dissing its green Android text message bubbles, compared to the blue bubbles of Apple’s iMessages. So much so, in fact, that it’s created a whole bunch of animated GIFs to, err… do something?

The GIFs portray scenes like a green snake eating blue bubbles and a creepy green salamander being inappropriately touchy-feely with a distressed blue bubble. Hey, it probably sounded hilarious when it was described in the team meeting!

The Note 10 packs a ton of new features. Not all of them are great.

Samsung’s new lineup of smartphones, tablets and notebooks were on full display today during the company’s Unpacked event for the Galaxy Note 10 in Brooklyn. Instead of waiting for Apple to introduce new iPhones and MacBooks in September, Samsung decided to get a head start on the competition.

Like pretty much all Samsung keynotes, the event included a shotgun blast of new features. Some of them are absolutely ridiculous and will be dead in the water at launch. However, Samsung’s team also uncorked a couple of great ideas that have us green with envy.

Hopefully, Apple execs are taking note of the good and bad things Samsung just revealed.

Samsung unveiled its latest answer to the iPhone today during an event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The new Galaxy Note 10 is undoubtedly one of the prettiest smartphones Samsung has ever come out with, thanks to its giant display with a pinhole cutout for the camera. This year’s Note 10 lineup comes in two different varieties. The Note 10 comes with a 6.3-inch display, while the monstrous Note 10 Plus packs a 6.8-inch display. But screen sizes aren’t the only thing that sets them apart.

T-Mobile was the first US carrier to commit to Samsung’s cutting-edge Galaxy Fold. Now it is un-committing. Perhaps that’s to be expected from the un-carrier.

This comes right after Samsung revealed that will finally ship its folding phone in September, months after it was originally scheduled.

The 2020 iPhone lineup could bring a huge display upgrade that will put it on par with iPad Pro in terms of refresh rate.

One leaker says Apple is “considering” 120Hz panels for next year’s handsets. It would be the first time its ProMotion technology has graced an OLED screen since its debut in 2017.

The meeting with Samsung, the main supplier of memory chips for iPhone, also included executives from Google, Microsoft and Amazon. Those three companies contract with Samsung for memory chips used in data centers for cloud services.

Apple should sue Xiaomi for its blatant copying — but it won’t

Xiaomi Mimoji look very familiar.
Mimoji is one of many products Xiaomi has ripped from Apple.

Xiaomi has a history of shamelessly ripping off bigger brands, and nine times out of ten, its chosen target is Apple.

The Chinese company has previously cloned the iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and more — without a single shred of fear that it might one day feel the wrath of Apple’s legal department.

Xiaomi’s latest ripoff is its own version of Memoji, and it brazenly stole Apple’s own commercials to promote it on a number of retail channels this week.

Here’s how Xiaomi gets away with it.
